Continue running to the pelican

You continue to run to the pelican dropship. As long as you get to the dropship and off Reach you are safe. You enter and go to the cockpit. You start looking around and flipping the switches. Although you are a pilot, you can't pilot a pelican that doesn't have an ignition. You look out the window and see a Covenant cruiser. You go exit the pelican and run back to the Spartan. When you get back to her she is being stabbed in the back (how ironic) by an elite ultra. You pull out your magnum and start firing at it. The elite charges you but you kill it before it reaches you. You go over to the Spartan and turn her over and grab the ignition from her. You get up and look behind you at the cruiser. The cruiser is charging its glassing beam and fires.

You die on Reach.
