You head for the elven village. It takes almost an hour to reach the outskirts. Avoiding the sentries, you approach one of the buildings and peer in through a window. it looks like a dwelling, and it appears to be empty. You have to duck low to squeeze in through the elf-sized door. Your bigger brothers would have never managed it.

Inside, you find a woven rush basket full of herbs, berries, mushrooms and roots--elf food. Not the most appetizing, but it'll do. You find a bronze hatchet, a fishing kit with several bone hooks and a length of braided sinew line, a flint, and a full skin of elven wine.

You turn to leave, and notice that you are not alone. Asleep in the bed is a beautiful elven maiden, her long hair like silver and her skin as fair as fresh milk.

• Take the supplies and go.
• Grab the sleeping elf maiden instead.
• Mate with the elf maiden right there.
