You decide you should go take a shower before you do anything getting up out of bed you stagger over to the bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom, and hit the light switch. "Shit" you mutter to yourself. Power is out. You flick the switch a couple more time to make sure. Hoping it might be the bulb you reach around the wall to hit a light switch in the bedroom, nothing. You imagine the person who called must be some other Deputy who must want you to come direct traffic, or something in the small nearby town. Too bad for him. Checking T.V is out of the question you contemplate just going back to bed not much else you can do at this hour.
