Look around the room while coughing

You look at the door and decide you're too weak to move forward.
You look around the room. Your head continues to throb and the coughing gets worse. One cough shakes your upper body so roughly you think you're about to choke on your own spit.
With one hand on the grimy wall next to you, you support yourself as this horrible cough has you bending over, eyes tearing up.
Suddenly you feel like you're about to vomit. The cough turns into a purge. You excrete thick gray liquid from your mouth onto the floor. You can hear the bile as it splashes to meet the ground. Gray puke is everywhere but you can't care less. You suddenly feel a whole lot better.
You sit down next to the pool of disgusting vomit to catch your breath. Your head doesn't hurt so much anymore and you feel a huge sense of relief.
You almost feel like laughing at your sorry situation at this point. As you shake your head in disbelief at your curious state, you notice there is a solid object covered in the putrid bile you just produced. It's about two inches long, not very thick. You have a strong feeling you puked this object out.
