You crouch down and check for a pulse on the nearest person, no good, they're dead.
You get up and go to the nearest pew, checking an old man and an old woman. Neither of them are breathing either. You walk across to the opposite side and check on a young man, and another old couple. Nothing. All dead.
The carpet makes squishing noises under your feet as you move further into the church and next to the bodies of three women on the ground. They are dead too.
You continue to the altar and check on the bride, as well as the three male dead bodies next to her but find that they've all taken fatal wounds.
Now that you're closer, you can see some bloody smears and handprints on one of the doors not too far away. It appears to lead somewhere downstairs.
You take a few steps toward it when the door to the church is suddenly flung open.
The man who had been sitting on the steps is standing there with a gun in his outstretched hand, aiming right at you. As you look over the pews, you notice one of the other men, about 17 or 18, who you hadn't checked yet move slightly. His eyes open for a split-second, but when he sees you he snaps them back shut.
"Forgive me... " the man with the gun utters, and you get the feeling he's about to shoot. You have precious few seconds to decide what to do...
