You know a chance when you see one, but you don't know exactly what to do. Vanessa places the eggs on a shelf inside the fridge and closes the door before turning back to you.

"Okay, let's get upstairs and do some work, 'kay? My parents will be back in, like, 5 hours and I'd like to be done with this by then, if possible." She says, walking over to the stairs. You follow her, wondering if you made a mistake back there, not killing her when you had a chance and all. In fact, you had two chances to get her. You wonder if one even counts, since you didn't know what to do.

But as soon as you step into Vanessa's room, you get that feeling again. You just know a chance will soon present itself. Vanessa takes a seat at the desk - covered in poster board and papers - across from her bed, and you continue to look around the room as you sit down in the chair next to her. She starts to talk some more, all about the project and how you have to show how voting trends have changed through history, but you're looking for something to take care of Vanessa with. She still has the wood bat she managed to hit a home-run with when she played slowpitch softball in middle school... it could easily end her. So could the bedside lamp, too. You could alwa-

"Hey, Megan? Hey. Here." Vanessa continues to try to get your attention, prodding you with a pair of scissors. You turn around and take them, as well as the various charts she hands you to cut out.

"Er, sorry... I guess I just spaced out." You mutter, beginning to cut out one of the graphs.

"Are you sure you're okay, Megan? You've seemed a bit off. Oh, and be careful, those scissors are, like, wicked sharp. I mean, really sharp." She warns you, turning to the textbook she has to the side of the poster board.

"Wicked sharp...?" You think to yourself. Wow, you wonder just how sharp these things are. Perhaps you should do a little testing?


Not now...

Scissors? No way.


Scissors? Why not?

Make it quick.

Make it good.

Make it brutal.
