Pokemon: Choose Bulbasaur
From Create Your Own Story
You reach for the red and white sphere as the word "Bulbasaur" leaves your lips in a whisper. This is it. Finally, after all the waiting months stuck dreaming about which Pokemon you'd choose and the journey you could have with your partner by your side, you were finally here.
"Ah, Bulbasaur is a fine choice!" Professor Oak exclaimed as he scurried about the room, collecting Pokeballs and the acclaimed Pokedex. "Let Bulbasaur out if you want, introduce yourself,"
You study the Pokeball before noticing the small white button, clicking it with no hesitation. In an instant, after a beam of red light squiggled from the button, your partner appeared at your feet. The Bulbasaur blinked his eyes continuously, adjusting to the bright lights of the lab. He then noticed you standing next to him, gawking at the Pokemon that was now yours.
"Hiya Bulbasaur," You cleared your throat, trying to sound confident. You knew you had to make a good impression on your new partner, you'd heard awful stories of Pokemon leaving their trainers because they believed they weren't good enough to train them.
"Bulba," The Bulbasaur nodded your way, then rested his eyes on the plate of Poffin sitting on Professor Oak's desk.
"Not the liveliest Pokemon out there," you thought to yourself.
Turning your attention back to Professor Oak, you watched him finish programming your Pokedex and hand them over to you.
"Here's your Pokedex and Pokeballs," he said, smiling.
You then heard a sudden cry from beyond the sliding glass doors that were placed at one end of the room. They led out into the lab's yard and it was filled with a few dozen Pokemon, all of whom were being fed by and nearly trampling the poor assistant.
"Looks like he needs help!" The Professor said. "Well, I'm sure you'll meet many Pokemon on your adventure, don't forget to record them in your Pokedex. And be sure to stay safe and have fun!"
With that, you watch Professor Oak scurry outside to help his assistant.
Looking at Bulbasaur, you clear your throat.
"Er, shall we leave now?"
It took a moment before Bulbasaur gave you a firm nod and he started to head towards the door. You followed, watching in amusement as one of Bulbasaur's green vine's slowly made it's way from somewhere underneath the bulb that sat squarely on his back. He picked up two Poffin's from the bowl before you both left out the door.
"Now what to do...?" You thought to yourself out loud.
Do you:
