You enter into the elevator and the doors close behind you. You hear rumbling and feel yourself start to move downward. All of a sudden you hear the snapping of a cable. The lights go out and the elevator starts into an uncontrolled descent. Before the lights went out you saw an emergency stop lever as well as a flashlight. You don't have much time.
