It's about time that Molly should be home from school. You grab your cell phone and dial her number.
After a few rings, she answers, "Hey Josie! Where were you today?"
You let out a long sigh "I just wasn't feeling well today. I'm better now though. Do you want to come over and hang out?"
She replies that she can be there in twenty minutes, and you end the call.
You suspect that Molly might have a tiny crush on Alex also... so it should not be too hard for you to orchestrate for them to be alone together.
Molly arrives on time, and you lead her in to the living room to choose a movie.
"Here, how about you pick, while I go grab some snacks for us?" you ask.
"Great!" she says. "Hey, is Alex home?"
"I'll go check!" You say, and head upstairs. You have just raised your fist to knock on his door, when it opens. "Oh! Freaky..." you say, and step back.
Alex looks jubilant, "I heard steps on the landing, and thought you might be coming back for more, you horny sl-"
"ACTUALLY," you interrupt, hoping that Molly can't hear Alex's voice, "Molly has come over for a movie if you would like to join us... I was just about to grab some snacks, and can make enough for you, if you like."
