You hold what remains of your thumb against the torch and the bleeding soon ceases.
You finally enter the hall at the front of the citadel. Mud, ruined paintings, and other scrap litters the corridor. The walls bear numerous scrapes and small holes. The corpse of a young maid lies face-down in front of you, and you hear shouting beyond a corner ahead.
