You wait until Dusk and let Valan prepare himself for the party as well. The two of you meet down at the hall, he is smirking and quite dashing in his ball. His outfit matches yours in color.
As you step down the stairs, he bring his arm up for you to take and you smirk. You are smaller then him but you manage to walk nonetheless outside to the coach that is awaiting. He helps you in before joins you inside sitting next to you and closing the curtain. He then knocks to give the signal to the coach and you horse moves, pulling the wooden transport.
"Where is this ball ?" you ask.
"In some mansion in the high town. We should be there shortly." he announce.
The two of you chat nonchalantly about the plans for the night as well as other casual small talk before the coach slows down to a stop.
"Are we already there ?" you ponder.
He opens the curtain and outside you see a crowd has gathered. The driver leans down"I'm sorry sir, we might be a bit late. There is a festival in the streets."
"No worries my good man. Just get us there." he says before closing the curtain again and look over at you. "At least I am in good company."
