"We should get a ladder." You say. "With construction everywhere, there has to be a tool room - anything to help us."

Wes nods. "Sounds like a decent plan, but where? I mean, would it even be IN the mansion?"

You realize he is right and think on it. "We see all around the mansion from each side of the river, and we saw nothing, so no. Still, though, it would be someplace where things are more fixed up for them to rest."

Wes laughs. "Nice deductions. Where to start?"

"Well, not here." You say. "But not far from here, since there already is construction happening."

"Now, if people are working on things here, where are they?"

That, you do not know, so you just shrug and try to play it off as unimportant. It is a worry, though. What if you stumble on all of them sleeping? Why would they stay here? Still, the two of you peek into each room, wary of the floor creeks and your own volume, trying to gauge where looks more restored than others.

"Nothing is that dusty here." You say in what looks to be a parlor, or what you can assume one to be from old period shows. "Maybe things are linked more around here?"

Wes points down to the far end to a propped open door. "I think I see something there." The two of you move to the room and find it packed with things. Tools, buckets, cleaning supplies, and luckily, a folding ladder at the far end. The room is rather small, and even you have to move sideways to fit in between things.

"How do they work with this?" You ask.

"Doesn't look like these are things they use too often." Wes suggests. "Hey, I don't really fit in there. Maybe we should just move stuff out slowly?"

"That'd take hours." You say, and make it to the ladder. You grab it and tilt it to its side, slowly dragging it back.

"Hey, Jo!" Wes says a little loudly. You shush him quickly, but after a pause he continues. "Jo, you're not backing up straight."

He says it too late. Your back bumps against a shelf full of tools and the shelf itself begins to fall on you. Your body curves forward slightly under the weight, but you keep it up by standing firm. Leaning forward slightly you are forced to look down and see your tanktop is leaning with you. Under your arm, the hole leans forward to expose most of the side of your breast. The low cut collar shows the side of your right breast as well. Your nipples are not exposed, but still, the shape of your chest is fairly well indicated by the curve of your breast leading to the point... You want to hold it back, but you are trying to hold back tools from falling off the shelf.

Wes' arm grabs the shelf. "C'mon." He says. You look to him, seeing he is looking at the shelf, not you. You continue to move, but feel you are slightly stuck. You try and ignore it at first, seeing Wes' arm shake under the weight. There is a twang, and you feel something change on your hip. You look to your side and notice the shelf had rusted edges, and it caught hard on your tank top, cutting it. It then caught onto your panties, and all the little shifts pretty well cut that too until you drew away from it - snapping it entirely. You take another step, and the panties fall to the ground. The tank top goes lower than your crotch a short ways, it is true, but not all that far. You whimper.

"What?" He asks.

"N-nothing." You say, and drag the ladder out. The shelf crashes as Wes lets it go. He sighs and sits next to the door, massaging his arm. You look back at the pile of tools, not finding your panties under the rubble at all. You think to look for it, but know it is already broken.

"Wes, turn around." You say. He looks to you a little confused, then does so. He tends to be kind and follow like that.

You slip off your books and leggings. As you do, he asks, "Something wrong? Also, should we concerned about all the noise?"

"Probably." You say. "And I just... I need to do something."

You tie the leggings around your waist sort of like a sarong under your tank top. All in all, it barely is longer than the top top itself. In fact, at rest, it is not at all, but it makes you feel a little better, having the extra fabric where it counts. The tank top still only goes half way down your thighs, and there are a few holes on the sides of it where it was damaged. "Okay." You say as you get your boots. Wes looks back to you a little confused looking at your legs, but he does not seem to put it together yet.

You hear a noise. It is not a collapse of something - it sounds controlled, like steps. You are unsure if it is heading toward you, but still, both you and Wes are alarmed.

"This is getting out of hand." Wes whispers. You know it to be true. "Maybe we should just leave before we get caught?"

You consider it. It may be smart, especially if there are plenty of people here doing work. Clearly someone is here. Still, though, you have snuck around this much so far, and now you have all the tools you need... Though climbing around may be a little harder without panties.
