'Well, come on then!'
She drags Corvo by the wrist until he pulls free, before following at his own pace, a few meters behind. Still, in six months he has never been happier.
'Did you see any monsters on your trip? My nanny says the ocean is full of them, but I think that's just to scare me.'
'Nope, but I did see a whale; it passed right under the boat, nearly toppled it.'
He tries to answer each of Emily's questions as they come. After a while it begins to get tedious; and finally, Emily starts.
'Let's see if you're still good at this.'
'Good? In all modesty, I'm the best there is,' Corvo replies, flashing a smile.
Emily chuckles. 'All right then, I'll count down from ten; at the end of that time, you'd better be where I can't see you.'
She covers her eyes and begins to count. 'Ten... nine... eight...' Corvo realizes he needs to find a place to hide, and quickly.
