Violet, by nature, was a quiet girl, and didn't want to risk a worse punishment. Folding one arm protectively over her chest; she allowed herself to be led out into the castle garden. She was brought to a large fountain with a male statue on top. The concrete surrounding the fountain typically served as a bench for those wishing to view the flowers. While the fountain was beautiful, it was old and its sprinklers tended to pick and choose when they wanted to work; including the main sprinkler on the shaft of the statue.
The old Prince brought her to it. "Lay here." He swung her toward the fountain.
