"It's all good. Don't worry about it Kare-Bear. They'll be another place up before long I'm sure." You try to sound reassuring but you haven't seen too many inhabited places lately. The desert sure is empty.
"It's alright." She fakes a smile and presses her hands against the crotch of her jeans tightly. She's breathing slower now.
The two of you continue on for over twenty minutes without so much as a building passing by. Kara is clenching her legs together tightly and bobbing up and down.
"Oh my god I have to go to the bathroom. We have to stop. I'm super serious. It's starting to hurt."
