Since none of us are telepathic, we have to communicate by transforming our thoughts into words, and hope that whoever reads (or hears) those words gets the thought that we were thinking when we formed the words. If the thought they get doesn't match ours, then the words have failed. The process of thought-word-thought works best if certain rules are followed. Unfortunately, thought and language are both very complicated. So here are some tips to help you communicate more effectively.
