You open the door and stick your head in to see your mom at her computer, which faces the opposite wall as the door. It appears she is wearing a black skirt and white blouse, but it is difficult to determine. Her red hair stands out against the white top. You are not surprised by what she is wearing, since that is her normal appearance. You want to take her, but know their is a better option open to you.
You smile and say, "Hi mom. Do you have a moment?"
She does not turn to look at you as she says, "Sure, hon, what's up." Hon is her nickname that she gave you years ago. You always thought it was a little girly, but never said anything to her.
You must your confidence and find the words easily enough. You say, "Mom, I just got this great update for my game. You have to see it."
