You become an engineering professor. You become very well known and your material is published widely. You help a lot of students get good jobs. BUT there are no hot women in the engineering college. One day, you get a phone call from a recruiter. He wants to ask if you'd be willing to take a one-year sabbatical in the former Soviet Union to help them learn engineering skills. They will pay you well and pay the university a healthy sum of money to let you go for a year. So, at age 45, you have a choice to make.
