Refuse to Hold the Sky for Atlas
Atlas tells you that he can't help you while holding the sky. You leave him and try to find the golden apples by yourself, but because you don't know the way, you get lost in a forest and meet time travelers on a field trip to 'Modern-Day' Ancient Greece. They think you're cool and take you back to the future. There, you stand in the middle of a street and see many giant metal beasts with usually at least four circular legs and eyes that allow you to see through their to their stomach.
