I'll make him feel pain. Without a care for my own wellbeing, I surged towards my tormenter. The axeman tried to intercept but I weaved around him, not caring as his axe sliced through my lower right side. -3 health.
The archer had time only to cry out in fear as I dived on top of him, stabbing him through the navel and bisecting him with a vertical slash. A satisfied smile spread across my face as I was sprayed with his blood. + 4 health.
The remaining axeman made another swing at me but I was ready. I twisted around to block his strike, and the sound of metal against metal reverberated through the clearing. Before he could bring back his axe to attack again, I forced my way through his arc and hacked off his right arm. His body convulsed in pain as I withdrew my sword and freed his head from his shoulders. +4 health.
Blood stained my clothes, and a distant part of me, the part that bothered with appearances, was deeply disgusted. But not enough of me cared as I dined upon their remains.
It's been so long since I've tasted the sweet tang of blood. Though these sour men were no fine course meal, they would do quite nicely.
You are healed back to full health.
You have gained 40 xp and 6 Gold for killing the bandits.
Now, the question is, what do I do now? The hour was growing late, and already the sun was starting to set.
