You take the eastern passage, walking a short distance before turning south again. You creep along the corridor, alert for any sign of danger, but the labyrinth is silent. After about ten yards, the passage turns back to the east. You pause at the corner and carefully peer around the edge of the stone wall.
At the end of the corridor, pacing back and forth before a sturdy wooden door, is a formidable-looking satyr. He's at least six feet tall, with black, cloven hooves for feet, powerful legs covered in black fur, a short tail, and the muscular upper body of a young man. His face is definitely goat-like -- long and narrow, with a wispy beard on his chin, golden eyes with strange, rectangular pupils, and slender, twisting horns curving out of his shaggy black hair. As he paces, you can see his large, furry ballsack swinging between his legs.
