You curse your foolishness. You're acting like something is about to shoot you in the back. You stand up and suddenly feel an intense pain in your lower spine. You also notice that whatever was behind you, has stopped whirring. Slowly you guide your hand to your back and feel something stuck into your skin.
You pull the object from out of your back. You bring it up to your face and examine it. It's a dart, with the tip covered in your blood. But it's not just blood it's covered in. There's something else. Something green.
"Poison". You whisper, suddenly feeling very woozy.
You fall to your knees and lose consciousness some time after.
