"Why don't you just take my watch? It's a real Swiss, worth thousands of dollars," you say. You slip the watch off your slender wrist and hold it out to the doctor. "It's a man's watch, so you can wear it yourself or sell it. Whatever you want to do with it." Like many attractive, modern women, you prefer wearing men's watches.
He examines the watch carefully, then finally nods. "Looks good. But how about a little something extra to seal the deal? Like those nice leather boots you're wearing. I bet I could get a few hundred for those."
You try not to show your fear. You certainly don't want him to get any suspicion that the data drive, the whole point of this mission, is hidden in there! "Just take the watch, okay? What am I supposed to do, walk out of here with no shoes?"
"We have plenty of spare shoes lying around here in the hospital. I'm sure we can find a pair in your size. Now are you going to give up the boots or not? Why are they so important to you when we're so close to reaching a deal?"
