The night is long, every minutes feels like years and every hour feels like decades.
From time to time you fall asleep only to be awakened by terrible nightmares. You hear the vampire roaming the halls, feasting on the inhabitants of the building.
From time to time somebody tries to knock down the door, without success.
At some point between 2 and 3AM, the intern comes to the door and talks to Abbie about the benefits of being a vampire, about the pleasure, the power,the immortality, the opportunity to take revenge on you...
But the door remains closed, you made sure of that.
When the first lights of the rising sun filtrate through the little window, you feel relieve. You'll be able to exit the building and leave this crazy town, never to come back.
As silently as possible, you move the metallic shelf blocking the door. You open the door and slip into the corridor. It's still a bit dark. There's no one in sight. Abbie is just behind you. If she can't keep up you'll leave her behind. Without looking back you walk to the elevator door and press the button.
Suddenly you hear some scratching noises coming from the studio. You turn around but the door is still closed. Abbie is terrified. Behind you the door opens. You jump into the elevator.and frantically press the ground floor button. Abbie hasn't joined you in the elevator. She's looking at a point behind you even more terrified. When the door closes, you realise the extent of your mistake.
You're too scared to turn around your hand is frozen on the ground floor button and your facing the closed doors.
A small hand grabs yours, almost caressing it before twisting it and breaking your wrist. The pain is intense and you fall on the floor of the elevator. Sonia, the receptionist you forced so many times to blow you dominates you.
"Tsk, tsk, Simon, you should have stayed in the light" She slaps you and you faint away.
You recognise the room you're in as the cupboard in the studio. The door is locked. You're trapped, you're fucked. Moaning sounds seem to be coming from behind the studio. Abbie is being introduced to the dark ways of the night.
When the door opens the only thing they find is your lifeless body hanging from the ceiling. You committed suicide: probably the easiest way out.
