You watch them race round and round

To fit in, with the others they have found

that stars are the key

but now, stars cost money, you see.

The towns all a mess,

Chaos and competition none the less

Against this man you find yourself fraught

To fight against the rules that you've always be taught

Get out McBean, we don't want you here,

We don't want to change our stars year after year.

Stop telling us how to solve our own shit

Get out of town before we throw a fit.

He can see that you mean it,

He now knows the Sneetches can see through his wit

He packs up his bags

Money in his pockets, cleans machines with his rags

Packs it all up

And leaves in a huff

But now in the aftermath there's a new choice to be made

Will you keep acting silly and let this new lesson fade?

Or will all the Sneetches see the error in their ways

And construct a new way for the rest of their days.
