You point towards the ocean.

"You can't be serious," exclaims Dodge. "We just came from there. There's nothing but a sunken ship! Why go back?"

"Well, there's no life here. Maybe there's fish... something we can eat once our rations run out," you postulate. "It's better than staying in the desert."

You get back into the raft and sail for days. Eventually, you all run out of food. There are no fish to be found in the water. You begin to starve and finally, the three of you die in a liferaft, doomed to drift on the uncaring waves until it capsizes, and you meet the same fate as the Icarus itself.
