"Nikola von Carstein is one of the youngest in the Carstein bloodline," the priest tells you. He ordered the construction of a huge black ship, the Drakenhof, currently anchored in the bay, and he started raiding the coasts from Norsca to Araby with his undead crew. Now he is back in Sartosa after a year-long absence, and he is one of the main candidates for the throne of the pirate prince. At first he had only a handful of supporters, but now several prominent captains have rallied behind him. We don't know why. That's one of the things you should find out."
