You stomp your foot and whine that you really would like to be an Australian marsupial. The voice gives a tiny, frustrated sigh. "Very well!" With that, you are cute, furry, and able to make cube-shaped poo. Positively thrilling. Unfortunately, you haven't made any burrows for yourself, and you are set upon by a pack of dingos and eaten.
And then you are in the dark once more.
"Oh, dear," says the mysterious voice who gave you the form of an imp. "I tried to tell you that that wasn't a very good choice. Please, allow me to pick a form for you."
You are plunged into water. It is dark and cold... and comfortable. You are a fish.
