Feeling a tad bit cocky you lay on the couch and close your eyes. It takes a few minutes, especially with the guy out there yelling and trying to break in, but you manage to drift into a dreamless sleep. However, you are pulled from your nap by the feeling of cold steel slashing across your neck, tearing skin and muscle in a way more painful than you have imagined it would. You feel your very vocal cords cut, your artery and veins slashed, and the pain. The warmth as your blood squirts out of your neck like a faucet. Your life ends here, the red smile on your throat wet with your blood.
