Go south to the small village

You head towards the village near the south, where you encounter a bit of a raucous hullabaloo. Men and women alike are yelling at eachother, with two females being the centres of attention. One side was lead by a Dark elf vixen, whilst the other was a half-elf woman only a few years younger than she.
“What do you mean you have nothing to do with the theft of our life savings?” The older one barked. “I caught you red handed, cousin.”
The younger one looks at her “Only because I’m broke due to the village’s endless discrimination of who I am.” She replies, trying to stop tears from welling up in her eyes. As you look at the two women, you needed to pick a side. Clearly trying to compromise wouldn’t work; they’d turn their heads at you, so it was one or the other.
- Tell the half elf that stealing is wrong, gaining favour from the dark elf.
- Tell the dark elf that discrimination is wrong, gaining favour from the half elf.
