I am a 27 year-old high school teacher. I love my job. My kids are wonderful, usually. One day I decided to assign my students the task of creating a choose your own adventure story. This is where it begins to get crazy. One student shouted, "Choose your own adventure!? I choose not to write anything!"
I gave her a lecture on the value of writing.
I picked up a notebook and "accidentally" lost control as it flew by her head.
I smiled and said, "Now that's the creative thinking I'm looking for."
