Use the servants' entrance

"Let's try the servants' entrance," you say.

You and Annabelle make your way around the castle. It's a long walk, and there are several good places for zombies to hide along the way. When Ana says, "We're getting close," you breathe a sigh of relief.

Too soon. The zombie leaps onto you from out of nowhere. There is a gunshot as Annabelle blows the zombie's head off with her rifle, but you already feel a sharp pain in your arm. You look down, already knowing you're dead even before seeing the ragged, bloody bite mark.

"I'm sorry," says Annabelle, raising her rifle. "If you want, I can wait."

"No, don't wait, Ana. And don't use that. You'll need every bullet." You motion to her axe, then turn around, exposing the back of your neck. You close your eyes as you wait for the blow to come down.
