You leave the rundown apartment building and start the walk back to your place. Walk? You use the amulet on a lady to give you a ride home.
You enter your house on a suburban street. You still live with your parents with plans to move out when you get enough cash. You call out to see if anyone's home but no one answers. You watch some tv until you hear the door open and your mom and little sister come in.
Your sister's only four years old and you love her dearly. You've always promised that you'd protect her to your mom and so far you've kept that promise and the amulet will just help you to do so. "Sandy, I have a present for you!" You call out to your sister.
"Oooh! What is it!" She runs into the room excitedly and climbs up on the sofa next to you.
"There's something I've never told you before about me Sandy." She looked up in curiosity. "I'm a genie."
"No your not!" Sandy responded loudly. "I'm not that stupid you know!"
"Oh but it's true. I can make people do whatever I say. Would you like me to show you?" She nodded furiously, changing her tune. "Mom come here a sec."
You wait and your mother arrives. "What is it honey?" She asks.
You activate the amulet. "Give Sandy the box of chocolate cookies that you've hidden away." She nods robotically and goes into the kitchen, soon returning with the cookies. They were only allowed on the weekends, a strict rule in your household and Sandy, being young and gullible, now instantly bought all of your claims.
"Now as for your present..."
