You tell your mom to stay there while you get your shaving cream and razors from the other bathroom. You put on a fresh razor and take some new ones with you as you head back to your waiting mom. You set the shaving cream and razors on the counter over the toilet, then take down the shower head. It is attached to a long hose, which means you can turn on the water without having water splash into the bathroom. You turn on the hot water, then adjust the temperature to make it hot and comfortable. You have no interest in burning her.
