In real life in World War 2, Japanese banzai charges usually ended with very high fatality rates among the attackers. Yours is no different. The thug shoots you in the chest and you crumple to the asphalt.

While the thug is distracted, Annabelle performs a dancer-style high kick, sending the gun sailing out of the mugger's hand. She catches it neatly in midair and shoots the man in the head. As he slumps dead, she bends over you. "My God, Paul. What were you thinking, attacking an armed man like that?"

"I thought...it was...another test..."

"Shit. This was no test. And even if it was, I wouldn't expect my date to jump an armed man for me." She shakes her head as she tries to stop the bleeding. "It's no use. It's terminal. I'm sorry."
