I ran a hand through my hair as walked towards the bar. What am I going to do now?I thought. After being fired from that shitty job, I had no income to pay rent of $100 a week. It would be due next Sunday. I couldn't let my family know I'd lost my job. I'd need to get another. There's no way I can lose my flat aswell and go back to living with my mother. She told me I'd never make it on my own and I wanted to prove her wrong - I still do.
I looked at the bar. There were two empty seats either side a man in a tuxedo. He looked a little too dressed up. To the right was a blonde woman in a small low-cut black dress. To the left was a man dressed in a hoodie and baggy jeans.
Where should I sit?
