Piggy's Day/Turn the lights off

Now you might not be the brightest star in the supercluster, but your reaction time is sometimes very well on point. You counter John's attack by switching the lights back off. John is blinded, and he stumbles and falls on the floor.
Piggy: "Sikes!"
You turn the lights back on, and while John is still gathering himself, you run past him, into what looks like a stairway up. You noticed that the cord from the light switch goes up this stairway, and there must be a power source up here. And there are not a lot of power sources one can have this deep underwater. You suspect that John dug into this tunnel from an island, and set up a solar panel up there.
Piggy: "Oh wow, I'm not used to being this quick-witted! I guess there's a first time for everything."
