Even without a bike lock, you’re pretty sure it will not get stolen. The city has a really low crime rate, and security is pretty tight around the convention. You take your bike out from behind your house and begin pedaling.
As you’re pedaling, you cut around a corner, but suddenly a man walks in front of you, texting in one hand and holding coffee in the other. The man seems focused on his phone, not sensing the danger he’s in.
