Lucas looks away from the prize in his hand to see you two, and then at your own hands. He frowns, but tries to not let it show. "Hey Dawn!... Barry. So you've finally arrived to claim your pokemon? I thought I'd be the only one for a second." He moves out of your path, leaving a clear path to the professor.
Professor Rowan speaks up, "Welcome, you two. I told Lucas to wait at first to determine who would pick first fairly, but I couldn't keep him waiting. I hope you understand." He shows you the remaining the last two pokemon left. Barry nods his head, "Go ahead, Dawn. You should go first." You nod at his chivalrous offer. "Please, be still here, please still be here." You hope and pray that your first choice is still here. You then look at the two balls left. The best choice, the one you wanted all along...
