From Create Your Own Story
Hello, I noticed it seems your form template is not working. I do not think this wiki can handle logic with the #if markups.
Also, I wanted to mention, if you want to get rid of that annoying pre / stuff, like turning What Will You Do?/Go to the kitchen into Go to the kitchen, you can add a | to it, so you get What Will You Do?/Go to the kitchen|Go to the kitchen
Then, your option will only display the text after the | (like [[What Will You Do?/Go to the kitchen|Go to the kitchen]] turns into Go to the kitchen. Just a tip that I hope is helpful. --Dirty Me 10:49, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
- About the parser functions, I know. ParserFunctions isn't installed. I already knew about the second thing you said. Lastly, I didn't know anyone's still here! --Stranger195 11:01, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
Yep, people are still around xD But, why are you posting your stuff on the main page? That is supposed to be for feature stories. It seems like cheating to those of us like me, who are relegated to the obscurity of the indexes. Please post on the main page sparingly, and only mostly complete work. PS: Also better if you respond on my user talk xD Only reason I know you commented is because I check the recent change section frequently. Otherwise, I do not get the "You have a new message" text--Dirty Me 12:46, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
As it says on the Main Page, do NOT add new stories on the Main Page. Only add new stories on the sub-pages for each story type.--Platypus 13:14, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, Platypus is the one you need to worry about, since he is actually the only system admin. I try to help him out when I am on, but he is the one who will growl (as you can see from his reply right above this xD). No worries though, he may sound like a bear, but he is pretty easy to handle. Follow the rules, make sure you categorize, don't add stupid stuff to his pet stories, and throw him the occasional fish, and he will be happy.--Dirty Me 01:59, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
