She smiles. “Gotcha. Might wanna just go with a beer, then. Got a preference?”
The only beers you’ve ever had are a few Budweisers in high school. That and the generic brand, but there’s no way in hell you’d ask for that. “Budweiser?”
A chuckle escapes her slightly glossy lips. She’s made up, but only a little. It goes a long way on her. “Tell you what, I’ll pick something for ya. Do you like it more bitter, or more sweet?”
