Leave the sewers

You realize it won't be long until the cops figure out your escape route. Figuring it would be safer to leave the sewers rather than stay put, you follow the sewer to where the runoff is dumped.
You see signs at various junctures stating where the flow is headed. To the east is the Los Angeles River, to the west is Santa Monica bay. If you head east you could follow the river inland towards the San Fernado Valley and beyond. If you head west you'll eventually run into the Pacific Ocean and be able to follow the coastline out of the city.
