You shift over to the window, before rolling the window down. "INTERLOPER!" The loud voice startles you, and you jump in your seat. After a moment of the officer staring at you, they look around surprisingly nonchalantly, before leaning into your Cadillac, presumably to whisper a secret. Your heart catches in your throat. "Listen, I'm not even getting paid to do this, this is my day off," The officer says in a low voice, shooting a glance over their shoulder. "So, if you can get out of the car, that would be nice. I really don't have the time to fill out forms for another dead body." The words barely register at first, but you realize that they're threatening you. But logic rules over. They don't want to hurt you.
