Advanced Dating/Go see Maya (FT)

You arrive at Maya's room at 9:58 and knock, thoughts of your night with Tina still drifting through your head. Maya answers the door after a few minutes, wearing tight blue jeans and a black t-shirt with dragons on it. She gives you a shy smile, and walks out, giving you a quick hug before closing her door. You walk out of the building together, and a few blocks away to the nearby park. You find a secluded bench with a good view of the lake and sit next to each other.
"Apparently, you're the same guy Tina's after now." Maya says flatly. You look at her for a moment.
"Yeah, we've had a few classes together before. I know Tina pretty well, actually. She came to my room last night."
Maya looks at you expectantly.
"She was hitting on me. I guess she hadn't talked with you about me yet. Poor girl. I really do feel bad for her, but if you and I are going to start a relationship, there can't be anyone else, even in the beginning. I hope she took it well."
"David, she told me about the whole thing." Your breath catches for a moment, but then she goes on. "She said that you were polite with her and did your best not to hurt her, and that you were a proper gentleman about the whole thing. Thank you for being so good about this."
You sigh inwardly with relief, but on the outside you just smile. "Well, I'm interested in you, Maya, and I don't want anyone else to come between us. Tina'll be okay, I think. Just give her a little time."
Maya hugs you for a few seconds, then sits back and holds your hand. You sit together for ten minutes or so, and then she stands.
"Well, I have some work I should probably get to today. Thank you, David. This was nice."
You walk her back to her room, and she gives you a light kiss on the cheek before closing the door.
That was close, but you got away with it! You might just be able to pull this off, as long as Tina continues to go along with it.
You go back to your room, and consider how to spend the rest of your day.
