As soon as you walk downstairs your stepdad sees you.
"What are you wearing?" He shouts.
"Clothes," you reply tersely.
"Is that what you call that?" He shouts back at you. "I let you wear those short shorts. I even bought you those two tank tops, but that's as far as I go. As long as you live under my roof, you have to wear real clothes. Ones that actually cover your body."
"Then maybe I'll live somewhere else," you shout back.
"Go ahead," he dares you.
"I will," you shout as you walk out the door.
You stomp down the driveway toward the road.
When you get to the road, you turn towards the town and start walking down the road.
