Downfall/She asked for a weird bet

From Create Your Own Story

During your childhood and even your early teen years, Kirsten came over you like a natural disaster. She was tall for her age, taller than you. Her arms and legs were slender, not overly muscular, but she had a longer reach and much better leverage for infighting. She'd often challenge you, wrestle you down and keep you in a headlock until you promised to do some of her chores. You often complained to your mother, but she always told you in a fake southern accent to get back at her because Kirsten was "just a girl". Kirsten always knew how far she could go without crossing the line. You could not expect help from her. At some point, it took Kirsten longer to pin you down. She didn't wrestle you often because it became strenuous, but when she did, she still won by ambushing you and using her superior build.

At some point though it became harder for her to wrestle you down. You started to hold your own, sometimes even winning. In retaliation, you also started fights, picking the occasion carefully. Once in a while you two even agreed on a 24 hour window to start and win a fight to settle a discussion or in Kirsten's case. She still had the upper hand in many occasions (not something you could brag about), but with the right stakes at hand, you did your best to gain the edge.

One particular day Kirsten approached you with an unusual proposition. She was very fickle that day and straight out asked you about a 24 hour bet. The stakes for you were to make sure a certain guy would be occupied on the following Saturday. You knew the guy from school. On a few occasions you met him to do stuff but never were more than acquaintances. When asked why, Kirsten told you to mind your own business. From her tense behavior you could tell that this was important to her. All you needed to do was to reject the bet to educe some more info from her. As it turned out, Kirsten was going to a camping trip with a friend of hers who happened to be that guy's girlfriend. If the guy was coming, too, instead of having a fun trip Kirsten was going to be the third wheel. You wondered why this would make Kirsten anxious like sitting on an ant hill, but she refused to tell you more.
