“Hello, babe,” she says as she hugs and kisses you.
“What are you doing here?” you ask.
“About to leave, that’s what,” she tells you. “This party sucks. No cute girls whatsoever.”
You laugh and agree. “Mind if I come with? Where’s Mish? She’s usually with you.”
“Oh, you’ll see,” she giggles.
You and Karen leave the party arm-in-arm.
