You fasten your pace as you pull out your phone, eyes searching the streets and dark ally's. It'd be just your luck to get dragged into an ally, and next thing you'd know, you'd be the one screaming.

"Hello, this is [Town] police service, how may i assist you"

You quickly tell the polite lady what you heard, and rattle off the street name.

"A vehicle will show up shortly and cheek it out. It's probably nothing, but make sure you lock your door when you get home" the woman cautions.

Without a reply you hang up, determination clouding your mind.
