He arches an eyebrow. "Oh?" He smiles. "Well, if you insist... I don't mind. Gimme your address."
You give him your address and introduce yourself. He says his name is Will. You two agree to meet at your place after school.
Quite honestly, you'd be too embarrassed to bring a boy over if your mother was home. But thankfully, tonight she was going to visit her relatives at the other end of the city and stay there for the night. So it wouldn't be a problem to throw a whole party, except you're really devoted to studying and don't really like parties. And you also will avoid awkwardness and embarrassing questions from her.
You meet after school and head to your house. Will seems to be nice and pretty polite. You don't know why you ever were afraid he'd be some bully or something. He's a pretty cool guy. You wonder if he has a girlfriend...
At your house, you two go to your room where you spend some time studying thoroughly. You help Will with math. He's really bad at it, you figure out. But he's still pretty smart and he quickly learns. That pleases you. And quite honestly, you enjoy his attention.
But time goes quickly. You don't even notice how a couple of hours pass by.
Will stretches in his chair. "How 'bout we take a break? I think I'm getting a headache from all this studying." He chuckles.
