You and Ling decide your best chance is to make a run for her BMW. You both carefully drift around the side of gas station carefully watching for the assailants. Using your Ninja prowess and skill you are able to stealth walk making little to no noise. Ling follows closely and you both reach the front of the gas station and to your surprise the car is gone. Ling says “Let’s head back in and before you can stop her she’s back into the store with you running behind shouting “I don’t think this is a good idea”. Inside you find that the store clerk is no longer there with any sign of blood or struggle. Ling ask out loud, “what happened here”? You remark “I don’t know”. She says “There is no sign of a fight or blood or anything”. You reply “Of course not, would you be so eager to attack 3 machete wielding men? As you and Ling look around you find that no money was stolen and as you check the video tapes oddly enough they come up blank. Before long 15 minutes have elapsed and you realized that your original goal was to get to the car to get away. You tell Ling let’s go find gas contact the authorities and get to the seminar safely. When you reach the vehicle you do find your belongings there but your ID gone and your credit cards stolen.
Ling in the mean time starts filling the car with gas and you ask “Hey what are you doing?” She responds saying before you entered the station she had already paid for the gas and was just trying to find extra items to make another purchase before the three men entered. After filling up, both you and Ling notice that your phones are also gone so you go back to the station to try and find a phone to contact the authorities to no avail. Getting back in the car 45 minutes have passed since the strange incident occurred and on the road you and Ling discuss all you can remember about it. You mentioned how strange this whole incident seems and how nothing makes sense. Ling concurs and as you drive you come past a corner and the dark sedan you saw at the station enters the road following you. Ling immediately increases speed and is able to stay a good distance ahead of the vehicle in her late model car. You guys drive for a good 5 miles with the assailants on your tail and you encounter a interstate sign giving you two options. You can either head for the Seattle or continue toward the seminar.
